Should your business run on HighLevel?
Updated 2026-09-18
HighLevel is a platform that can replace your CRM, email tool, calendar, page builder, course platform and invoicing in one subscription. For some businesses that is a good trade. For others it is a subscription they will not open. This site exists to tell the two apart.
Start with the question you have
- Is it worth it for a business like mine? The review, written from a dozen businesses we have watched run it, with the conditions under which it is the wrong purchase.
- When should I not buy it? Eight conditions about your business. If two apply, keep your money.
- Which plan, if any? Eight questions, one verdict, including "not this tool".
- What will it really cost me in year one? The subscription is the smallest line. The calculator adds usage, add-ons and setup.
- I run a coaching or consulting practice. What it runs, what it replaces, what it costs a practice.
- I use another tool now. Kajabi, Ontraport, Keap, ActiveCampaign, ClickFunnels, HubSpot and a dozen others: which fits which business, what moves, what breaks, how long it takes.
- What is it like to run a business on it? Attribution, lead leakage, pipelines, the AI features, missed-call text-back, reviews.
- Does it connect to what I already use? Zapier, n8n, QuickBooks, Xero, Zoom, WhatsApp, Stripe, Google, Claude.
- What does it do for my industry? Real estate, trades, clinics, gyms, dentists, lawyers, accountants, restaurants and more.
- I have decided. What do I do first? The plan we would pick, the order to set things up, and the link.
How this site is different
Most pages in the search results are written by someone on the seller's side of the table: an agency selling setup, a content team, an affiliate with a bonus stack, a tutorial channel. This site is written from the buyer's side. It is paid by referral, it says so on every page, and its signature pages tell some readers not to buy.
New to it
What is GoHighLevel? is the plain explanation for an owner who has never seen it. The glossary explains sub-accounts, snapshots, workflows, LC email, SaaS mode and the rest. Every price on this site carries the date it was checked; every fact about the product links to its source.
